About the Presenter: Dr. Jennifer Malone is a first-generation college graduate and educator with 38 years of experience across K-12 and higher education. She has served as a special education teacher, principal, district leader, and now assistant professor at Missouri Western State University. Her work centers on increasing access and success for Black students, especially women, by addressing systemic barriers in education. Dr. Malone's research focuses on the shortage of Black special education teachers, equity in higher education, and closing achievement gaps. She is an active member of several professional organizations supporting inclusive and just education.
